Strategically located in the heart of the Industrial area between Hwy 401 and Hwy 407 in the city of Markham, Stanmore Equipment has a modern 3600 square foot facility providing sales, service and rentals of its specialty equipment - Rough Terrain Forklifts.  Along with rough terrain forklifts, Stanmore Equipment supplies equipment and materials to the agriculture, mining, sod farming and construction industries.

Established in 1962, the company was originally know as Stanmore Turf Equipment, and served customers with a wide variety of lawn and garden equipment.  From lawn and garden equipment and supplies, Stanmore Equipment, over the next several years, moved on and integrated larger equipment and supplies to where the fleet contained small bulldozers, backhoes and forklifts.  As the construction industry grew, so did Stanmore's equipment, operations and team.
